                                       Boston Public School Summer Reading

We encourage all of you to take time and read independently and with one another. The lists below were created by Boston Public Library Children’s and Teen Librarians and Boston Public School English Language Arts Teachers and Library Team Members. The lists linked below can be downloaded and easily printed.

Attention Rising 2nd – 5th Graders:
This summer we are piloting a required summer reading book for Rising 2nd – 5th Grade.  The book titles are on the lists linked below. This required book is intended to be fun, but will allow for literature discussions and reading and writing assessments at the beginning of the 2016-17 School Year.
